Trigger Point Dry Needling
Expert dry needling to target specific soft tissue and neuromuscular issues.
Fellowship-trained, manual therapy and body work that gets to the root of your pain.
At Uplifted, manual therapy isn't an add-on to your treatment — it's a core part of how we help you move and feel better. Our physical therapists are fellowship-trained in orthopedic manual physical therapy, an advanced credential that only a small percentage of PTs in the country ever pursue. This level of training means we've spent hundreds of additional hours mastering hands-on assessment and treatment techniques that go far beyond what's covered in standard PT education.
Our manual therapy approach includes joint mobilization and manipulation to restore normal joint mechanics and reduce stiffness, along with soft tissue mobilization to address restrictions, adhesions, and tension in muscles and fascia that limit your movement and drive your pain. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we use these skilled hands-on techniques to identify exactly which joints and tissues are contributing to your pain or movement dysfunction, then combine that with targeted exercise and movement retraining to make the changes stick.
For athletes and active adults, this precision matters. Your body needs to tolerate high demands — whether that's a heavy squat, a tennis serve, or 10 miles of running — and even small joint restrictions or soft tissue limitations can lead to compensations that cause pain or hold back performance. Fellowship-level manual therapy allows us to find and address those limitations with a level of skill and specificity that most clinics simply aren't trained to provide.
